Subject area for the position Health Care Sciences with a focus on family (informal) carers and use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)
Location Kalmar, Sweden
Nature of the position: 100% for one year with a possibility of an extension for a further year.

Duties
Work tasks consist of research and development within the area of ICT support services for family carers. The post -doc position is a collaborative project between the School of Health & Caring Sciences and The Swedish Family Care Competence Centre (SFCCC) (Nationellt kompetenscentrum anhöriga) at the Linnaeus University. Projects will be carried out in cooperation with health and social care providers, ICT companies and NGO:s within the area of care, family caring and family care support.

Qualifications
Eligibility criteria This position requires that the applicant has a completed PhD qualification in the area of Information and Communication Science, health care sciences or equivalent within the last five years prior to the deadline for this application (with equivalent competence from a university abroad).

Eligibility requirements
The candidate will have the personal skills as well as formal abilities to work in the field of care, family caring, family care support and ICT. As the work takes place in a research group and together with engaged carers, practitioners, ICT-technicians and representatives from civil society organisations, this post demands sound collaborative and communication skills, flexibility and due responsibility. Further, the candidate will have excellent proficiency in English and the ability to carry out quantitative and qualitative research within the described area.

Due merit is given to documented evidence of research experience within the research field with  issues related especially to family caring, family care support and use of ICT,  well documented experience of quantitative research and experiences of project management of international research projects.
