As we strive for continuous improvement in our planning and fulfillment processes, skills, and tools, we are seeking a Planning & Fulfillment Specialist to join our team at our Alingsås site in Sweden.
Reporting to the Planning and Fulfillment Manager your primary responsibilities will include optimizing key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, inventory turns, and lead times, with a specific focus on improving inventory management. If you have a proven track record in disposition and logistics, along with expertise in SAP-MM, -PP, and -WM, and the ability to drive improvement initiatives in a dynamic environment, we invite you to join us in shaping the future together.
Your responsibilities
Coordinate unit-specific and cross-unit activities aimed at improving planning and fulfillment metrics, including on-time delivery, inventory turns, lead time, and plan accuracy.
Focus on the continuous development of the inventory management process from an operations perspective, including relevant tools, to enhance inventory turns.
Analyze and optimize system settings to improve key performance indicators, while ensuring optimal utilization of factory capacity and coordinating inventory adjustments with product management and internal sales.
Conduct standard and ad hoc analyses related to planning and fulfillment metrics, identifying key root causes for non-performance, and driving related improvement initiatives.
Facilitate fit-gap analyses of information system tools, support the deployment of standard IS solutions for planning & fulfillment, and provide professional assistance to users.
Your background
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical, business, logistics, or related field, or a vocational training in business or technical fields with relevant working experience.
Strong background in disposition, logistics, production planning, or equivalent, with minimum 3 years of working experience is an advantage.
Expertise in the planning and fulfillment domains of logistics, warehouse management, inventory management, and sales & operations execution.
Advanced and senior level knowledge of SAP (PP, MM modules).
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
Customer-focused and action-oriented, with a systematic and structured approach.
Cultural awareness and ability to collaborate within a global organization.
Strong communication skills in Swedish and English is an advantage.
