hela Sverige Publiceringsdatum2024-01-30ArbetsuppgifterWe are looking for a Payroll Manager for our client who works in the manufacturing sector. They need a consultant who specializes in payroll and has proficiency in Agda. While leadership experience is advantageous, it is not a requirement.
The client's primary focus is to provide top-notch products and services that improve security and streamline operations for their clients. As the Payroll Manager, your primary responsibility is to develop the skills and knowledge of payroll specialists within your team. You will provide guidance, training, and assistance to team members in their day-to-day tasks, as well as offer insights and plans for the future of payroll operations.
In the past, each company managed their own payroll, but starting in 2022, all payroll tasks for around 2300 employees in Sweden have been consolidated to the Landskrona office. The payroll office is currently being developed, and you will have an important role in leading the efforts to make processes and routines more consistent and efficient. Working with your team, you will aim to provide excellent service to the customers.
Your primary responsibilities will involve:
• Making sure that the monthly payroll and other services are delivered on time and as agreed upon in the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Providing guidance, training, and assistance to a team of five experienced payroll specialists.
• Leading efforts to standardize and optimize processes and procedures within the payroll department, both for the clients and for the benefit of your team.
• Regularly evaluating and improving work methods, system configurations, and other aspects to ensure that resources are utilized efficiently and that the service provided is of high quality.
• Track and implement updates in laws and agreements, making sure that both external and internal regulations are followed.
• Maintain open lines of communication with relevant stakeholders and share information about the payroll office's operations.
Requirements
• Having either academic or post-secondary education.
• At least 5 years of experience in a qualified payroll work.
• Previous experience as a payroll manager or the ability to effectively lead and support a team of specialists (leadership experience is not necessary).
• Experience in implementing changes and a curiosity for improving work methods and processes.
• Interest in IT and digitalization, particularly when it comes to system-related matters.
• Having prior experience using the client's payroll system Agda is essential.
• It is also necessary to have excellent proficiency in both Swedish and English, both in speaking and writing.
• As an individual, you possess strong leadership skills, a positive mindset, and a strong sense of accountability. You have the capability to think strategically and operationally, and you are adept at successfully completing projects.
• It is important for you to have a desire to contribute to the growth and fostering of a positive work environment in order to thrive in the organization.
The client offers a global atmosphere, and the payroll department interacts with numerous English-speaking clients and contacts. Hence, it is essential for you to effortlessly transition between Swedish and English in your job.
