We at ABB Robotics in Västerås are currently recruiting a talented Operations Project Manager to lead our journey towards the new Robotics Campus Sweden. This is your chance to join us on this truly unique and exciting journey.
Your responsibilities
As Operations Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing several of projects within the Operations organization. Initially you will focus on developing our current factory but also to lead our journey into the new Robotics Campus Sweden with main focus on production processes and logistics
Lead the Operations project program, establishing an efficient project execution approach and oversee project handovers, execution planning and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources in order to meet overall project goals, deliveries and milestones
Report project status to Robotics Campus Sweden Program Manager and key stakeholders
Demonstrate and proactively apply immediate recovery actions to mitigate possible schedule delays and cost overruns
Ensure that the project follows and complies with ABB health, safety, and environmental policies and standards
Build and maintain strong relationships and effectively communicate with all stakeholders
Identify, qualify, quantify and manage project risks and ensure that opportunities are identified and pursued
Oversee projects that focus on increasing the manufacturing automation level and optimizing logistic flows, ensuring a smooth transition and integration of new solutions and technologies
Your background
To be successful in this position we are looking forward to recruiting an experienced, structured and driven project manager that can balance care with high pace and target orientation. Team focus is essential, and you are able to lead, motivate and work in close cooperation with multiple functions to meet our common goals
M.Sc. Engineering within related field
Proven experience from leading large complex projects in industrial environments and building factories are strongly beneficial
Project management certifications such as PMP and/or similar
Knowledge and experience from production system World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Lean Manufacturing
Knowledge in Change management (Adcar)
Good communication, social and networking skills
Great leadership skills
Fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement, Swedish is beneficial
