During 15 intense and exciting months, starting September 2019, the program will give you a holistic view of the Volvo Group's global truck manufacturing organization. You will get to know our different brands and their plants and learn about our logistics organizations and activities. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end to end supply chain, aftermarket parts, and our remanufacturing operations.
In parallel, you will grow as a person, through individual and team development sessions. You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will experience several "on-the-job" rotations and have the opportunity to work on real project assignments. In addition, you will join a number of learning modules where you get together with other program participants to take part in trainings and events designed to help you grow into your future career at the Volvo Group.

This is us, your new team:
The Europe & Brazil Manufacturing Engineering team is a group of 120 Engineers. We play a vital role both in ensuring today operational excellence and in preparing the change to the future Industry. We work closely with the operational teams in the 7 vehicles plants located in Sweden, France, Belgium, Russia and Brazil. Also, we work in a concurrent engineering mode with Volvo Design departments to identify the right requirements in early phases of the projects and develop jointly the projects.

In this role you:
Are the main interface towards the research development at Volvo Group in the product development process for embedded software
Identify product impact on current process and inform plant engineering and provide product information for analyzing the impact on process solution
Assure product compliance with GTO technical requirements for the project and evaluate and recommend product concepts related to embedded software
Design, develop and verify tests and calibrations in production by using ESW (Embedded Software) handling tool (Prosit+), for both new product development and maintenance

Who are you?
To be successful in this role you will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A BSc or MSc in electronics, mechatronics or computer science
Maximum two years of previous working experience, prior to or after graduation
Solid English skills
To be a communicative team player with the ambition to develop both yourself and the business that you are working in
Valid work permit for Sweden
