In this role you will:
• Execute and support defined Commodity strategies based on demand, market and supplier analysis to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.
• Prepare and conduct negotiations for medium to high Purchasing Volume to obtain highest feasible savings
• Negotiate and generate contracts; define core assortment; document contracts in relevant Supplier Management IT-systems.
• Maintain regular contact with relevant interfaces
• to gather information, fully inform network partners and ensure information exchange with relevant stakeholders
• Support Supplier Management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification); update supplier evaluation systems to obtain and develop the best suppliers and ensure transparency
• Implement and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems)
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who:
• Has relevant degree and at least five years of documented experience from Strategic Procurement. Preferably from a larger matrix organization
• Previous experience from the health sector and also from public tenders is beneficial.
• Has great business acumen
• Is an excellent negotiator and also communicates well in both English at least one of the Scandinavian languages.
• Confident to meet people in different positions and levels in an organization
• Has good knowledge of commercial processes
• Very good knowledge in MS Office in general and are very skilled in MS Excel specifically.
• Knowledge in contractual law
