hela Sverige Never heard of Nexus? No worries, we are a company who excels even though you don't see our logos everywhere. If you have used a student ID to get in to an event, worked at a construction site or have had to identify yourself with a smart card at work, the chance is high that you have used one of our products. We are securing society by delivering trusted identities, and a crucial part in this process is the work done by our warehouse and delivery team.
At Telefonplan in the south of Stockholm we produce smart ID cards and ship them together with different components to all over the world. Our amazing team in warehouse keeps track of all the components needed to make this happen and make sure we ship it all out as we should. Now we are looking for a new colleague who wants to join us in warehouse and delivery, making the world safer one smart card at a time. (True story, even if it might sound a bit cheesy).
The team is lead by Pernilla, who knows more about our customers and smart cards than the rest of us combined, and you will also work closely to Pierre ("the best warehouse and delivery guy in the world") who is helping coordinate the team on a day-to-day basis.
What will you be doing at Nexus?
So, what is it that you will be doing? The short version is that you will be part of the team that oversees our warehouse and make sure we ship our products in a correct and timely manner. We ship smart cards and key fobs, some examples are the ID06 cards everyone uses at construction sites, or the keycards you use at big corporations. We receive the orders, put the package together (for example a card with the card holder) and make sure it gets deliver in time.
Sounds easy? Far from it! In warehouse we have thousands of components that needs to be in the right place and at the right time. You are responsible for keeping control of these components and register the correct balances in our ERP-system. In parallel you also make sure that we package the correct components and ship the things to our customers. And this is important, because if we don't deliver as we should- none of the other things matters.
The role in bullets
• Keep track of the delivery that arrives to Nexus and register the incoming components
• Pick and pack the components needed in our customer orders, and make sure it gets deliver in time
• Always keep track of the balances in our warehouse by a continuous inventory and register the changes in our ERP-system
• Optimize your work, help your teammates, and make sure you and the team get better for each day
Who are you?
As you might have understood we think this is serious business, and we are very proud of our company. Therefore, we want you to take pride in your work as well. We are looking for someone with a couple of years of work experience. We want you to have experience of a physically demanding work since the team in our warehouse always is on the move, lifting things, packing orders, and so on.
As a person you think it's important to keep a certain standard, in what you do and in the surroundings. We believe you are a person that like structure and to dig into details, and you take responsibility for getting your work done in the best way possible. Nexus and the team are always on a learning curve and therefore we believe that you like to take initiatives to improve, and - most importantly - help your teammates to excel at their work as well.
