Macrobond is offering an opportunity to join our team as a Business Manager in a dynamic, expanding, internationally-focused company at the cutting edge of its industry. The right candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with Macrobond?s existing portfolio of clients as well as identifying new opportunities for expansion in your market. Macrobond?s research solutions are targeted at the financial services sector and include: strategists, analysts and economists at investment banks, hedge funds, governmental organizations and large corporations worldwide.
We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated person, who is a fast learner and is comfortable in dealing with senior clients. You will be expected to take on responsibility from day one and there are fantastic career-development opportunities for the right candidate. The position will be based at our headquarters in Malmö, Sweden and will include frequent travel.
Your Responsibilities
The role will require you to identify our clients? needs and how our solutions can assist them in making investment decisions and doing research by utilizing our data and powerful analytical tools. Additionally, you will work closely with our product development teams identifying and aggregating client feedback and development needs in order to sell in this field. Finally, you will act as the primary contact for educating and training our clients in further developments and enhancements to our products. Responsibilities will include:
• Making the Macrobond data platform the choice among a select group of accounts.
• Working with clients to maximize their growth, usage and dependency on Macrobond by building strong relationships.
• Having a clear understanding of client needs and demonstrating a proven competency in the financial services sector.
• Generating new leads through researching, cold-calling and referrals.
• Having a comprehensive understanding of our product offering and identify opportunities to introduce our products to appropriate users.
• Providing high-level analytical expertise to clients.
Your qualifications
We are looking for an individual with enthusiasm, confidence, drive and a strong sense of initiative to build our business. You should have well-developed sales and negotiation skills, ability to work independently and exceptional communication skills. We would appreciate if you have international experience and particularly international sales experience. You have a proven track record and a willingness to acquire knowledge of both our business and products.
We expect that you have a bachelors or masters in finance, economics or communications. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of financial markets and previous business-to-business sales experience. The position requires excellent English skills, additional languages will be viewed upon favorably.
