Adecco IT & Engineering is now looking urgently for our client a Network Manager. The position is reporting to IM Prod Manager – Nordics and is located in Stockholm.

 Job Purpose:
The primary purpose of the local Network Manager is to provide reliable connectivity (LAN/WAN) up to the office workplace (physical devices at the desk of the end-user), everywhere, anywhere according to agreedSLA's. This includes the connectivity to the physical locations (e.g. branches; head-quarters) as well as delivering fixed and mobile telecommunication solutions to the end-user
Implementation and execution of the Network strategy within the country and according to the guidance provided by the Global Network Manager
Develop and build network solutions in accordance with global IT initiatives (e.g. Everest) or local needs
Responsible for the design of application network infrastructure. Working closely with the Solution Specialist to understand the Application Blueprint of the solution and then document the technical detail to realize the solution infrastructure, in line with Architecture standards

 Main Accountabilities/Measured On:
Agreed SLAfor network, fix and mobile telecommunication in his/her country
Number of incidents related to the network solutions in the country
Quality and completeness of the high level and detailed network design documents
Cost efficiency
Apply Network Strategy locally

Country IM Prod Manager
Global Head of Network
External Partners
Peers in IM Production

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Manage network and telecommunication function across the country
Directing service provider who manage network in the country and voice network suppliers and carriers
Manage network and telecom infrastructure capacity and availability according to demand take appropriate action to ensure infrastructure is covering business demand
Provide reports on KPI's to the Country IM Prod Manager and to the Global Network Manager
Manage the efficient operation, maintenance and support for the following defined technology areas in the country
   Networking (Wired and Wireless, incl. Cabling Standards)
   Communications (Incl. Voice, VOIP, IVR, CTI etc.)
   End User Devices and Tools related to networkingSecurity (incl. Firewall, Proxy servers, IPS, Content Filtering, DNS etc.)
   Fixed and mobile telecommunication solutions
   Internet access and capacity
Based on analyzed trends, ensure that necessary steps to update the design and upgrade the infrastructure are taken prior to any negative impact on performance
Provide proactive necessary support to the Incident and Problem Management process ensuring that interim solutions are provided so as to minimize negative impact to Business and avoiding reoccurrence of incidents
Responsible for providing cost effective and defined level of availability of the IT Services; ensure that Business objectives are achieved through analysis of monitoring results and ensure appropriate action is taken to maintain agreed service levels
Ensure detailed Technical Designs are created as required
Ensure necessary support is provided to the Procurement team in revising the Supplier contracts and providing the necessary update on the licensing requirements
Overall responsibility for relationship with external suppliers of the section, optimized usage of services and contract ownership and execution

Management Responsibilities & Decision Power:
Network Manager will maintain a functional reporting line to the Global Network Manager 

Personal Attributes:
Strong team player; Ability to build pro-active, co-operative working relationships with customers, peers and key stakeholders based on respect and team work; Management level person with good ability to convince; Experience with and sensitivity for different cultures; Ability to act under strong pressure and to manage efficiently crisis situations; Good in leadership, developing team members by inspiring, encouraging and providing constructive criticism to help improve performance; Able to evaluate information, identify key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgment, experience and common sense

 Professional & Leadership Experience: (Previous experience in terms of time and complexity)
Strong telecom and network technology knowledge; Good Infrastructure and Operations background; Management experience at a similar level is a plus; Experience in managing outsourcing contract, KPI's and SLA's preferably with telecom and network suppliers; Proven track record and experience of successful management of technical teams including career development, performance feedback and evaluation 

Education & Training:
University degree preferably in a technical subject or any comparable education; ITIL 3 certification; Project Management education and experience; IT network certification 

Minimum Requirements:
Willingness and ability to travel; Good to excellent command of English and Swedish; Any additional language is an advantage especially, French, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish
