Within Supply chain operation, Supply Chain planning has the assignment to lead and develop tactical and operational supply chain planning with accountability for inventory, replenishment methods, need and logistic capacity planning to secure agreed service levels at lowest cost.

Job Description

As Need Planning Manager you will:
Ensure agreed availability (according to SL goals) at lowest possible cost (supply plan accuracy, Inventory turns, stock structure) for the assigned product range areas.
Lead business and people of assigned area through developing, motivating, and coaching Need Planning Team Managers
Create pre-conditions for excellence in execution by proactively securing executable supply plans for assigned range areas & geographical regions
Be responsible for recruitment, development, performance management, retention and succession plans for Need Planning Team Managers
Drive the competence agenda for all Co-workers in the assigned area
Contribute to and initiate geographical forums with other supply stakeholders as well as lead initiatives together with Supply Chain stakeholders in order to ensure an executable supply plan and healthy stock structure for the assigned geographical region
Being active member of Supply chain planning management group and take lead in together deliver our action plans and goals.

Qualifications

As a person, you have a strong passion to guide the organisation into the future, having a strong drive in the field of planning. You have leadership skills to lead business and people in a global assignment. You have the drive to develop your co-workers and yourself to deliver excellent results. You strive to obtain a good collaboration and interaction with a big number of various stakeholders throughout IKEA. Moreover, you have a desire to find new ways and make them happen through engaging and motivating people. You go the extra mile and find new solutions to enable IKEAs journey to become a true Omnichannel Retailer.
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
High interest in taking leadership to build the next generation need planning function for IKEA
Knowledge of agile mind-set and ways of working
IKEA value chain knowledge, experience from different functions across IKEA
Strong knowledge and understanding of the IKEA supply chain and processes
A passion for planning and leading in a global assignment
Strong knowledge of IKEA leadership and team dynamics
Knowledge of Range & Commercial
The desire and capability to be a great communicator and by this build trust and relationships to handle multiple stakeholders in a global environment.
