We are looking for the right person to connect the dots and support our sales teams in Nordics.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
The key responsibilities for this role are to support the sales organization in Nordics (Denmark, Norway, Sweden) - by providing reporting, administration, supporting and general office management.
The Sales Support Manager strives to deliver the best service and support, both to external (clients) and internal stakeholders. He/she knows the hospitality business and understand the market situations with competitors and customer mix. He/she takes a broad view and recognizes opportunities and what can be achieved. This role works across borders and loves international collaboration. This role supports ad hocly the Area RFP process as a coordinating facilitator across the Area and with liaison to the Central RFP team. Last, but not least - The Sales Support Manager embraces challenging assignments, situations and opportunities that extend beyond their comfort zone!
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Plans and support the execution of client events and trade-fairs, - and participate as needed.
· Support in client meeting planning, - and attend as needed.
· Liaises with Area and Regional DOS to co-ordinate & communicate Regional/Area Sales activities.
· Liaises with Marketing to ensure Sales activities and related Marketing support is coordinated.
· Organizes the distribution of promotional information and collateral.
· Self-education on special programs, to train sales teams and take on championship role
· Works with all systems and manage the system training and subscription of team members.
· Ensures that internal databases comply with GDPR regulations.
· Support in SOP creations and implementations.
· Pulls and consolidates statistics for clients and for sales team members as requested.
· Involved in invoice handling and collecting of supporting documentation.
· Chases hotels for non-paid invoices (kick-back fees, participation fees and system licenses)
· Supports the RFP process in the Area and liaise with the global /central RFP teams.
· Handles technical issues within systems and support Sales teams accordingly
· Take on special projects ad hoc, as required.
· Manages internal visit calendars/events.
· Supports Area DOS
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
· Experience within a Sales Support function.
· Strong business and commercial awareness.
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
· Strong technical skills, easy to adapt to new systems.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
· RFP process knowledge.
· Well organized with the ability to plan and manage own workload.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
· Some experience with SAP Sales Cloud, Lanyon and hotel systems.
· Experience with actively participating in a team environment, whilst demonstrating the capability to work independently
· Strong administrative skills
