Job description
We are now looking for consultants on behalf of our customer Bombardier Transportation in Liljeholmen Stockholm. You will be responsible for new development and support to existing Object Controller system regarding cables, cable harness to indoor and outdoor cabinets' solutions with mechanical interior.
Typical activities include
• Support to productions engineering and suppliers
• Re-design of existing interior
• New design of cables, harnesses and interior.
• Specify mechanical and environmental requirements for indoor and outdoor cabinets.
• Appropriate documentation on all required levels pertaining to both product and process
It is also important to produce both hardware and documentation according to the agreed quality standards and with the appropriate level of review.
Qualifications
You should drive for result, be proactive and self propelled. You should also have a high degree of integrity be analytical and innovative.
Specialized knowledge required by the position:
• Safety Critical Development. e.g., CENELEC 50126/8/9,
• Electro technology
• Static and dynamic calculations for cabinets and interior.
• Environmental requirements according to CENELEC e.g. vibration, shock etc.
• CAD
Desirable knowledge:
Experience in analysis and design of signalling systems
Experience with specification and documentation of complex technical systems
Experience in object-oriented design and development
Experience in Configuration Management
Experience in Product Data Management (PDM)
Experience in Quality Management Systems used in signalling systems
Presentation and documentation of technical systems
Some experience in hardware engineering in a signalling context
Some experience in product development
Knowledge of Bombardiers project management and processes
Ability to communicate with wide variety of stakeholders and to resolve conflicts
Presentation skills
Education required: Master or bachelor of science degree in Mechanical Engineering
Computer skills required:
Design tools, such as Auto Cad, Catia, Caddy etc.
Basic knowledge on version management tools, such as CM/Synergy & ChangeSynergy
Basic knowledge on requirements management tools, such as DOORS
Basic knowledge PDM tools, such as KON4, Teamcenter, Maximo
MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Visio, Primavera
