Then we might have an exciting opportunity for you as Mechanical Designer Engineer at Oticon Medical.

Oticon Medical is the fastest growing company in the area of bone anchored hearing systems and with the recent acquisition of French Neurelec, we are now strategically expanding our product portfolio to include cochlear implant hearing systems. You will be located in Gothenburg and part of Oticon Medical R&D consisting of 3 development sites; Smørum in Denmark, Gothenburg in Sweden and Vallauris on the French Rivera. As a Design Engineer in Oticon Medical R&D, you will work with the whole product development cycle from idea, prototype development, design, testing and verification with a close collaboration with all three sites as well as external partners and subcontractors. Responsibilities include:
• Micro-mechanical design - from requirements and concept to products running in production
• Idea creation and design management
• Design documentation and design reviews
• Secure technical validity and manufacturability of the designs
Design engineer with proven track record in technical product development
In order for you to be a success in this job, it is vital that you have the following skills and qualifications:
• You should have a deep technical knowledge with an extensive experience, minimum 5 years, from development of medical devices
• Experience with implantable medical devices will be an advantage
• A B.Sc. or an M.Sc. engineering degree
• You should be a flexible and positive person that thrives from team work
• Broad experience from CAD systems, we use PTC Creo
• Fluency in English (spoken/written)
