As a Marketing Manager at Specops software you will be expected to develop a deep understanding of the business issues that drive specops customer's decision-making processes. You have the ability to expertly message and communicate the business value of Specops Software's solutions through a variety of channels, including the web and email. You will be responsible for the worldwide marketing of Specops Software, its products and solutions. Working closely with sales and management, you will build Specops reputation in target markets, generating highly qualified sales leads, and equipping the direct sales teams with the tools they need for optimum success. With support from the sales teams you will also build a direct sales focused closed-loop marketing and sales process that leverages new technologies to deliver revenue growth and enhanced profitability.
This is a global contributor role reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing. You'll be based in Specops Software's downtown Stockholm office, but will work extensively with Specops offices in Toronto and Philadelphia as well as with sales team in the UK.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Develop and implement a marketing plan to grow Specops Software in their target markets.
• Create compelling content that will bring prospects to the Specops' web site and produce highly qualified sales leads and/or online sales within their target markets
• Improve and maintain specopssoft.com
• Create content that demonstrates the business value of Specop's solutions for key vertical markets
• Manage major part of the Specops Software marketing budget & achieve a strong return on their marketing investment
• Assess our target markets and the positioning of their products, and recommend / implement any changes necessary to achieve our goals
• Build awareness of Specops through PR, analysts and thought leadership
• Purchase and manage specific outsourced marketing services to achieve Specops' goals
Furthermore you will build Specops' reputation as a thought leader in OS/Software deployment and password management and deliver an optimal set of sales tools to support Specops' direct sales team. You will manage the launch of all new Specops Software's products & releases together with product management as well as manage communications with existing Specops' customers for up-sell and retention.
Profil• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related area
• Minimum 5 years business-to-business marketing experience with a track record of success.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, primarily in English
• Able to swiftly write and/or edit large amounts of web content
• Clear, friendly and professional style of communication
• Able to write compelling headlines and copy
• Adhere to AP Style, use proper spelling and grammar
• Demonstrable experience in interactive content design and â'writing for the Web'
• Demonstrated ability to create compelling content & presentations
• Experience creating email and online marketing campaigns
• Proficient in use of common marketing tools (CMS, web analytics, mass email tools, AdWords)
In addition, you have the ability to understand and relate the needs of IT professionals and are proficient in communicating business value of technical products. To be successful in this role you need to be results driven, organized, dependable and self-reliant. You have strong teamwork skills and work well with others, both locally and globally.
