• Then look no further, because we are hiring a Market Director to our Renewable Energy and Process industry sector in Sweden.
As a Market Director, you will have the mandate to coordinate sales efforts, drive business development, and lead the execution of large proposals within the Renewable energy and Process industry sector. You will manage key customer relationships, build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, and participate in strategic decision-making processes.
Your daily work will include collaboration with colleagues in Sweden, Denmark and Norway as well as COWI's remaining priority geographies in an international business development environment executing on our corporate Strategy.
The location for the role is Gothenburg, yet for the right candidate, Stockholm or Malmö may be considered as locations.
Key Mandate and Responsibilities:
Drive the executing unit's market activities, as part of the market organisation in Renewable Energy towards long term relationships and high customer satisfaction.
Identify leads and establishing pipeline, mature leads to tenders, proposal, contract negotiation and hand-over.
Take part in tender selection processes and other Go/No-Go decisions.
Lead and deliver proposal activities, ensuring high-quality submissions and presentations applying COWI sales processes.
Participate in pricing and commercial discussions with customers.
Act as Key Account Manager and be part in development of new Key accounts.
To excel in this position, you likely have:

Have a good read on people, self-awareness and the ability to see strengths in other people and combine those strengths across teams.
Strong experience and knowledge from industry and energy projects A relevant master's degree or equivalent qualification.
A proven track record of management of key customer relationships and business development in Sweden
A desire to lead and listen for teams to shape winning proposals utilising our combined customer understanding and linking those to COWI's strengths for proper value proposition work.
A good feel for the strategic market outlook and the ability to convey market situation and understanding to others in a pedagogical manner.
Exceptional communication skills in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
A desire to see people, meet people, listen to their concerns, share your reflections, learn from that and to build value from that. Both externally with customers and internally with teammates.
A passion for energy intensive industry and the energy transition.
