Within Sales and Marketing, the Trucks Sales Region - Africa and Asia-Pacific has the responsibility for sales volumes and profitability in Scania's most expanding markets.
We work in close collaboration with the market units optimizing sales volumes and profitability in accordance with our long term strategies. As a Market Coordinator you will be responsible for handling defined areas for the markets within the portfolio of the Regional Product Management Office APAC (RPMO APAC), aligned with our ambition to become the leader in sustainable transports.
This includes carrying out commercial decisions aligned with the Regional Product Managers for assigned markets within the set targets, following up and assuring implementation of set business development areas and acting as main point of contact for market within the portfolio of the Regional Product Management Office APAC.
Additionally the role is responsible for providing the Head Office with continuous business intelligence from the region as well as driving improvements in our commercial interactions with the markets.
With a unique position between the distributors truck sales organizations and all of Scania CV's divisions, you will play a pivotal role in securing our future profits.
Main responsibilities
• In collaboration with the Regional Product Manager, establish price, volume, marketed range and other product related issues with the Distributor.
• Provide and continuously revise volume, profitability and market share forecasts and follow up results according to set processes, proposing action plans when required.
• Be the number one point of contact for volume forecasting, production slot allocation and special order questions for assigned markets.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments to achieve common business objectives, ensuring that there is open and efficient cooperation.
• At Head Office be the spokesperson representing the Regional Product Management Office APAC in all questions related to assigned markets and assuring that all relevant information from Head Office level reaches the Regional Product Management Office APAC.
• Engage the right people and departments at Head Office level to support the assigned markets when needed.
• Representing Head Office and Regional Product Management Office APAC during visits, events and exhibitions.

You are a team player who can take the lead to coordinate our cross functional resources to reach our operational goals.
An academic degree in business, technology or equivalent is required as well as a good level of English. Additional languages are considered as a major advantage. You are likely to have 2-4 years work experience from Scania and good knowledge of the heavy vehicle industry.
