What we offer?
We are dedicated to electrify our brand in a broad effort with Plug-In hybrids (PHEVs) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). At the engineering department of Propulsion Energy Systems, we are responsible for design and delivery of the technical solution of Traction Battery systems for electrified vehicles. We are the core competence centre in Northern Europe in regards to Lithium Ion technology and automotive battery systems.
The company target is to electrify 10% of the cars in 2020 and to have 1 million electrified cars on the road in 2025. The rapidly advancing battery technology is the main enabler to reach that goal and our journey has just begun! We are growing rapidly and have now created a new group in the section Traction Battery Controls & Calibration. Are you up for a challenge? Then the role as group manager of Traction Battery Controls is the place for you to prosper!
What you'll do
You will be responsible for the control unit of the High Voltage Battery as well as the Basic Software in-house development. The group consists of two agile teams, the Battery Management System (BMS) team and the Basic Software (BSW) team.
Together with the section Traction Battery HW we form the Traction Battery Agile Release Train (ART) and are responsible for design and delivery of the technical solution of Traction Battery systems for electrified vehicles. The ART covers the complete product development of mechanical, electrical and software.
You will have a close collaboration with the Product Owners and System Architects in order to safeguard long-term technical strategies. You will work proactively with competence development to assure the right competence to be able to meet the set strategies. You will also guide and coach in the agile development process.
Do you fit the profile?
You have experience in product development within automotive including electrical hardware as well as leading SW development. You have a genuine interest in leadership and developing efficient teams where every team member is contributing to the success of the team. You have a technical education in electrical/SW and if you have experience in agile ways of working such as SAFe, it is considered a benefit.
You will strongly contribute to our transition into a new technology area and our way of working with SAFe methodology. You have an inner drive that you like to share with others, and are not afraid of implementing change.
In order to enjoy the role you have the ability to see the big picture, you like to contribute to the result, have a business orientation, always with the customer satisfaction in mind. To be successful you need to be a great communicator who appreciate cooperation and have the ability to build and maintain contacts.
