About the position
Our Test & Analysis department in Timrå, Sweden is now looking for a Manager Test & Analysis.
This department is key in helping us evaluate and verify the different solutions that we develop. We do this through physical testing of concepts, prototypes and pre-production material, but also through a range of calculations and simulations. We want to find the perfect balance between physical testing and simulations to be efficient in our work, and drive improvements in both areas of expertise. The Manager Test & Analysis is ultimately responsible for striking the right balance in these tasks - delivering in the projects, while also developing the methods and processes for the department.
Responsibilities
Key Tasks
• Manage personnel to achieve department objectives
• Ensure deliveries according to existing processes and requirements
• Develop, implement and maintain policies and processes within the department
• Set targets for department capabilities and drive towards them.
• Develop the department's capabilities through training, recruitment and investments
• Contribute and/or drive incentives within Global R&D as/when required
• Participate in and/or drive continuous improvement activities, as well as regulatory and quality assurance investigations when required
• Perform performance reviews and salary discussions with employees
• Ensure a safe working environment

Your profile
You are passionate, innovative, and ambitious. You want to make a difference for others and feel fulfilled when you can see the link between the work you and your team do and positive improvements in the lives of others.
We also expect you to have good relationship management and communication skills.
You have a Master's degree in engineering or equivalent documented experience along with experience in leading and developing personnel, change management and product development processes
You also have good knowledge and understanding of:
• Development processes, particularly parts related to Analysis and Testing (in development and verification phases)
• Planning of deliverables at department level
• Applicable quality standards
• Reporting requirements within regulated products
Excellent language skills in both Swedish and English (written and spoken)
