We are currently looking for our new Manager for the PCBA prototyping organization at our HQ in Lund, Sweden - someone who wants to be a vital part of an innovative and encouraging environment!
Who is your future team?
This is an opportunity to be part in creating and shaping a new team at Axis. The team will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing the In-house prototyping production of R&D's PCBA's. The area of responsibility will range from purchasing of components/PCB's and consumables used during production of the prototypes, to preparing, running and delivering the finished prototypes to the development projects. The team will consist of 3 different disciplines, engineers, purchasers, and material handlers.
What you'll do here as Manager for the PCBA prototyping organization
In this role you will lead the team operationally and strategically, making sure they get the support and coaching they need. You will be responsible for a competence and service organization which require that you as a manager plan and foresee the needs we might have.
You will work with developing and improving our ways of working. You will develop our guidelines for DFM which is crucial to enable us to work with constant improvements. The role will require high level of social skills when it comes to interact across the company to implement ways of working and deliver a great service for the R&D projects. The role as manager will require that you learn alongside the team to be able to pitch-in whenever needed.
Your main tasks will be to:
* Develop your team and its members related to both the needs of the company as well as in balance with the needs of every team member.
* Making sure we have the right competence and organization to run and organize day-to-day operations.
* Perform standard management tasks like development talks, salary setting, budgeting, recruitment, etc.
* Act as team ambassador representative towards internal and external partners

You also have:
* Leadership experience, such as Team Lead, Project Manager or Line Manager
* Interest in developing and challenging yourself as leader and manager.
* Interest in technology, product development and production process development
* Experience from PCBA production
* Fluent in Swedish and English
