We are now searching for a Logistics Analyst to join the Barilla Northern Europe office based in Stockholm. You become part of a team consisting of a Procurement Professional and your manager Logistics Manager Northern & Central Europe together with three indirectly, reporting team members. The team takes responsibility for efficient logistics services in the region by implementing logistics strategies based on the needs of the market, control of budget, identifying, procuring and maintaining relationships with transport and external 3PL's as well as close cooperation with our own internal warehouse.
Job description
As a Logistics Analyst your main areas of responsibility will be to manage the budget (for warehousing, pick and pack, dispatch and transportation costs) process throughout the N&CE area. This involves working hands on through budget definition and the different update cycles throughout the year with your manager. Further you will work to maintain logistic cost YTD and quality KPIs in control through monthly review cycles. You will have full ownership of management reporting systems. You will partner with local market teams to review logistic cost around launch of new products or new customer channels. Together with your team you proactively work for continuous improvements and drive own projects in order to achieve more efficient logistics solutions for Barilla. You will also play a key part in negotiations with suppliers, providing analysis of quotes, supplier and share recommendations.
Your profile
We believe that you have an academic degree within logistics, finance or the like, and approximately 3 years of experience in a similar role. If your work experience is form a global FMCG company we see it as a great merit. We trust that you have an interest in logistics and controlling tasks, as well as solid knowledge of MS Office tools especially Excel. Aside from this, your verbal and written skills in Swedish and English are advanced.
As a person you are driven and analytical with a distinctive “Can Do†mindset. You enjoy working with international contacts and you demonstrate an openness and willingness to grow in your professional role. Being able to work in an entrepreneur environment where you need to find you own structural way of working is essential.
