Expansive Worlds is a creative division of Avalanche Studios Group and a leading developer and publisher of outdoor games. Since 2009, Expansive Worlds has been devoted to delivering highly immersive outdoor gaming experiences for millions of players and best known for the long-standing and successful theHunter franchise.

We are now looking for a Licensing Manager to work with our self-published titles - including theHunter Classic, theHunter: Call of the Wild as well as future and unannounced titles.

The Position
As a Licensing Manager, you connect the world's most recognized outdoor brands with products from the leading outdoor games publisher. You have the ability to establish and maintain strong partnerships - and understand the balance between our player, companies and the product needs. You identify, secure and manage agreements to get some of the most well known brands licensed within our portfolio of games. You are well-versed in contracts and exercise sound business judgement.

This position reports to the Head of Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Successfully identify, negotiate, sign and maintain license partnerships across multiple industries and categories internationally.
• Own relationships with licensing agents, ensuring clear and regular communication.
• Works with legal team(s) to ensure deal approval process, contract and royalties, as well as tracking to licensing budget expenditure.
• Work closely with product and marketing to establish business priorities and product requirements.
• Manage detailed records of individual licensee contracts, to include renewals, amendments.
• Facilitate effective and efficient flow of information between licensees, and internal production and marketing teams.
• Liaise with marketing (brand) between both licensee and Avalanche, to ensure adherence to brand guidelines.
• Attend trade fairs and other regional meetings with existing and prospective licensing partners.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years working within licensing (licensee or licensor), ideally within the entertainment industry.
• Solid business acumen, negotiation and deal structuring skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to travel, when needed, to directly engage with partners.

Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience within the videogames industry.
• Experience working in an international environment (knowledge of the Chinese market is a big plus).
• Interest in Outdoor(s) and/or Sportsperson Activities.
