Internationella Engleska Skolan Kista open in August 2015 with 18 classes. After an extremely successful start and with plans to grow to 25 classes in August 2016, we are now looking to expand our team of dedicated and well qualified staff further. Whilst we are celebrated for our English profile, IES Kista is a bilingual working environment. We see excellence in Swedish as vital to our students becoming future leaders within the local and national community.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Librarian who will help us to create a calm and welcoming centre of learning within the school. From August 2016, the school library will be open from 8:30 until 17:00 each day for the use of all our students. Whilst experience of a using a library cataloging system would be an asset, a passion for working with young people is the most important quality we are looking for. A successive applicant will play a key role in helping us to fully resource the library with both English and Swedish literature for younger readers.

IES Kista is a school where teachers can teach, students can learn and everyone enjoys coming to school each day. A pedagogical breakfast and lunch is offered free of charge to all staff, as well as a personal laptop, mobile phone and an excellent working environment, which includes staff parking and access to gym facilities. We are able to support those coming from outside the Stockholm region to find suitable housing if required. We welcome visits to IES Kista from all prospective applicants.
