www.pmiscience.com. The Legal Department consists of about 240 lawyers in total globally, among which about 40 are supporting the EU and EEA markets. We are now looking for a Legal Counsel to our Nordic Legal Department located in Stockholm. You will report to the Senior Legal Counsel Nordics.

As part of the legal team, you will play an important role in the journey towards a smoke-free world.
The role
As Legal Counsel you will work together with the Senior Legal Counsel Nordics with legal matters in concerning the five Nordic countries; Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. As such, you will be dealing with all legal matters affecting or relevant to PMI 's activity business such as tobacco regulation, preparing and negotiating contracts, dealing with employees, customers, suppliers, authorities and third parties. You will also engage with external counsels in all Nordic countries. You will work closely together with the business where you are expected to deliver commercial and business-oriented legal advice. The place of work is Stockholm. The work will include some travelling.
Who are you?
You have a Swedish law degree and 2 - 5 years of professional experience from law firm or a company. You have a broad legal experience and you are used to drafting and negotiating commercial agreements. Experience in working with regulatory law, competition law, employment law, marketing, e-commerce, digital business initiatives and or data protection is a plus but not required. You are able to communicate both in English and Swedish fluently. You are curious, organized, supportive and able to work in an environment of constant transition. You prefer to take your own initiatives, you are solution-oriented and business-oriented in your work. You have excellent communication skills and you know how to communicate across all areas and at all levels of the business.
