hela Sverige The Institute of Health and Care Sciences offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as well as individual academic courses within the first and second cycle of higher education. The basic training courses for nurses and radiographers lead to a professional degree as well as a bachelor's degree. The training of midwives and the specialist nursing course with its different orientations lead to a professional registration in combination with a master's degree. All professional programmes lead to a professional registration. Moreover, the freestanding courses are offered at an advanced level, which gives the possibility to continue studying towards a master's degree in one of the institute's main topics; nursing, reproductive and perinatal health, radiography and health care pedagogics. The institute also offers a postgraduate programme leading to a PhD degree in Health Care Sciences.

Lecturer in Nursing
SUBJECT AREA DESCRIPTION: Within the main subject of Nursing, the knowledge about health and a good quality of life despite the presence of illness or disability is developed, including the development of knowledge about a peaceful and dignified death. In nursing, it is not the illness or the disability in itself, but rather the person's experience, interpretation and reactions to illness and disease that is the focus. JOB ASSIGNMENTS: The position includes mainly teaching students within the Nursing programme but may also include teaching students participating in the individual courses. The tasks consist of planning, coordination, aiming for continuity within the courses, teaching and examining and also conducting evaluations of the education. The position involves an active effort to achieve the institute's objectives and business plan and also to participate in planned joint meetings and activities at the institute. The applicant is expected to be able to teach in Swedish.
ELIGIBILITY: Completed university education at the least advanced level in Nursing or Health Care Pedagogics and demonstrated pedagogical skills. Qualification as a registered nurse. ASSESSMENT: The first assessment criterion is pedagogical skills. Upon appointment, the quality and width of the applicant's teaching merits from nursing programmes will be of great importance. Further, a proven ability to cooperate and being flexible in collaboration with lecturers and students and also administrative skills is advantageous. The candidate is expected to teach in Swedish.
