The position is based in their main refinery located in Nynäshamn, 40 minutes south of Stockholm.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
As a Laboratory Engineer you work with Nynas' hydrotreating technology and crude oil evaluation. You work in a laboratory environment with development studies utilizing pilot scale units for distillation and hydrotreating, simulating the production units at the refineries. You have the main responsibility for one of the units and work in a team with two other laboratory engineers. The main work tasks involve daily operation, periodical maintenance and troubleshooting of pilot units as well as chemical analyses of product samples produced in the laboratory. At performing the studies, you will be part of a project group together with a Development Engineer and a Specialist from the Process Technology Department. You will also be involved in risk analyses at modifications related to the units or at implementation of new work procedures.

Kvalifikationer
• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or other relevant training/experience from processing industry
• Fluent in written and spoken English. Swedish is advantageous
• Proficient computer knowledge
• B-driving licence is preferred and experience from quality management work is meriting

We are looking for a person with a strong interest for laboratory and practical work. We value a high safety and quality awareness, good organizational skills and a high level of technical expertise. You enjoy working independently as well as in team-based projects. To succeed in this position, you need to have a logical and analytical nature and have the ability to take initiative and find solutions. In this recruitment we are looking for a candidate that comply with Nynas' values: dedication, cooperation and proactivity and has great interpersonal skills. We also require a strong safety mindset and a natural ability to identify potential risks related to the laboratory work.
