We are looking for an IT Technician to join the Divisional ICT team at Ascom Wireless Solutions.
Location
The position is based in Gothenburg with frequent international collaboration.
About the Job
The main purpose of this position is to deploy, maintain and support the divisional IT desktop environment as well as the client computer systems within Ascom (Sweden) AB.
As an IT Technician, your main objective will be to ensure that our IT desktop environment is operative, developed and secured. Your main responsibilities include:
• Deploying, operating and supporting Ascom Wireless Solutions IT client platforms using the centralized SCCM system including related 3rd party systems
• Participate in the overall process within the IT Operations helpdesk on a daily basis
• Participate in the development and maintenance of the divisional wide centralized IT client platforms
• Co-operate with internal and external organizations and vendors
• Participate in the purchasing process regarding IT related products and services
This is a full time position you will be member of the Divisional ICT team reporting to Manager Divisional ICT. Since the Divisional ICT team deals with international users and systems located in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, you will need to occasionally work early or late.

Your qualifications include:
• Documented knowledge and experience within the area of Microsoft client computing as well as the underlying Microsoft technologies such as AD and general client/server infrastructure
• General competence within the area of LAN, WAN and TCP/IP based communication technologies
• General competence within the area of virtualization technologies (VMware)
• Minimum three and preferably five year's relevant working experience within the responsibility area
• Ability to speak Swedish and English fluently as well as to, within the competence area of this position, write general and technical documents
