Are you interested in becoming a team member at the Digital Workplace department as the IT Sustainability Lead to drive the Green IT initiatives for Scania and the VW Group IT? Apply and join our diverse team in a challenging and exciting environment!
You will be responsible for
• Collaborating in Scania's cross-functional teams and departments for IT sustainability topics and initiatives
• Taking lead in coordinating sustainability work for Digital Workplace as well as the whole IT organization within Scania
• Coordinating the data collection and calculations for the carbon emissions and electricity consumptions from Scania IT's resources (both hardware and software)
• Coordinating strategic activities within the TRATON group (Navistar, MAN, WVT&B) for the green IT working areas
• Hosting and coordinating workshops with multiple companies within the Volkswagen Group
• Taking lead in training and communications inside and outside the organization for IT sustainability and some other related topics
• Driving initiatives to improve the IT sustainability work within Scania

Your profile
• M.Sc. in sustainability and/or software engineering or a similar related topic
• Extensive work experience in the Green IT area
• Knowledge and great interest in sustainability and Green IT
• Self-driven with a focus on solutions and goal orientation
• Energy and passion to work individually and in teams
• Strong communication skills
• Engaged, curious and well-structured
• Fluent English in written and verbal
Who are we as a team
We from Digital Workplace are responsible for buying the major IT hardware and some other equipment and systems for employees and the company. We work closely with internal stakeholders and our suppliers to buy IT products at a right cost, while ensuring a stable and safe working environment for Scania's employees. Nowadays, besides the quality and the safety, sustainability requirements are also addressed in the group and real actions to reduce emissions from IT sectors are needed. We have plenty of diverse experienced employees in the Digital Workplace and some other related areas, who enjoy working together as an awesome team to reach the daily goals as well as challenge ourselves.
