Internal Communication Manager

Job description
The Internal Communications Manager will develop and execute the internal communications strategy for Transport and align with Xylem's overall messaging. Your main task is to plan, develop, implement and evaluate the internal communications activities on an operational and strategic level. In the role you will lead cross functional internal communication projects as well as act as a sounding board to the management team to reach objectives.

Mainly, the role will focus on;

* Development and execution of yearly communication plans supporting the overall communication strategy covering e.g. webcasts, town halls, the Transport newsletter, and e-mails.
* Strong ability to develop and tailor messages through different communications channels
* Gather content from stakeholders and produce messages
* Manage the editorial board with representatives from the business
* Lead initiatives to further develop internal communication e.g. Transport intranet
* Support Transport Management to drive changes aligned with overall strategy
* Partnering with the HR function to develop and distribute change communications and organizational announcements, as well as creating and implementing employee engagement programs.
* Represent Transport Growth Center in Corporate forums

Required experience and Knowledge
You will be able to demonstrate experience of at least 5-7 years within internal communication in an international organisation. You need to be an excellent communicator with strong writing skills. The corporate language is English,
which is why it's required that you are fluent in English and Swedish. To become successful in this role you need to have project management skills, experience from change management communications and employee engagement programs. Academic degree in business or communication.

You will be working in an international environment in a matrix organization. The assignments will be varied, interesting, challenging and you will work with executives as well as technical experts on a daily basis. In this role you will be able to develop strategies and at the same time be accountable to execute them. The work environment encourages open dialogues and a continuous improvement mind set.
