• Lead, facilitate and support initiatives in the group's innovation agenda for building strong brands and maximise commercial impact.
Promote insight-driven innovation/growth agenda to ensure that the core element of the Electrolux Strategy - to become a true consumer-marketing driven company - is fulfilled.
• Be part of ensuring the success of, the Innovation Triangle Council (ITC), the front end forum where the strategic growth and innovation direction is set by actively participate in related work streams.
Planning & Activation
• Support the group's innovation agenda for sustainable profitable growth by leading/facilitating initiatives to strengthen the innovation/growth portfolio and related planning.
• Support the work to connect the cycle plans to the Innovation/Growth Portfolio. Strengthen market success through improved innovation pipeline, key metrics and best practices.
• Serve as a change agent within the organization to help drive the cultural transformation required to deliver on the strategic priorities with main focus to manage our crowd sourcing activities (iJam etc).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the development ongoing evolution of Innovation Jams (iJam).
• Lead initiatives to develop and implement continuous improvements of Innovation/Growth Portfolio.
• Improve Innovation Planning across Functions as part of Innovation/Growth Portfolio and strengthening market success and brands.
• Instill improved collaboration and more Inspired Thinking across functions and sectors.
• Facilitate collaboration within front end functions (Marketing, Sales, Design, R&D, Product Planning), forums and processes.
• Facilitate collaboration within back end functions (Operations, Mfg, Purchasing R&D, Product Lines) and back end forums and processes, including, but not limited to, GPL, GPB, GMO, GTC etc.
• Serve as key ambassador of Innovation, Growth and Commercial Launch nomenclature within Marketing, Global Operations and Sector organisations
• Help drive the cultural transformation at Electrolux in order to foster an environment within the broader organisation where innovation and ideas add value.
• Constantly scan the external environment in search of new ideas, approaches, and mechanisms to further the innovation and commercial launch agendas at Electrolux
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
• Proven Project Management capabilities and successful lead of corporate-wide crowd sourcing activities
• Experience of innovation portfolio work
• Experience working with many different functions such as Sales and Marketing, Brand, R&D, Design, Research, Purchasing, Digital, etc.
• Communicate, connect, motivate and partner with all relevant stakeholders across the organization as well as customers, suppliers , partners to establish a "make it happen"-mindset and willingness
• Working knowledge of business principles and terminology and strong consumer communication skills are required
• Ability to provide a holistic view within complex organisational structure and extensive experience from working with functional/operational and business units
• Ability to make - and execute - tough decisions in a timely manner
