The position
As Ingest Operator at NENT, you will be at the heart of the technical side of releasing new content for Viaplay and Viafree. The team currently consists of 19 ambitious and fun-loving employees and is divided into two: ingest operators and content operators. You will work in a leading streaming company and with famous brands. Within the team, you will have your own areas of responsibilities and of course be onboarded to your new work tasks accordingly.
Some of your daily challenges will be:
• Work with video transcoding.
• Order subtitles from translators.
• Quality-proof and ingest new content.
• Be responsible for keeping deadlines and getting content ready for the publication date.
• Work on problem solving and improvement regarding published material on customer service issues.
• Work towards internal teams.
• Have daily contact with distributors and studios.
The journey ahead
You will be working with a large team that together cover the entire chain in the publishing flow. Everything from contact with distributors, scheduling, coding, quality control, to publication is owned by this team. In other words: here is a lot to learn!

What we are looking for
To be our new colleague, we believe you are a solution-oriented team player with a huge interest in media and great content. You thrive in taking initiative and have a sense-of-urgency in everything you do, as you face new challenges and decisions on a daily basis.
Successful candidates also meet the following requirements:
• You are fluent in Swedish and English.
• You have a degree in media and communication, video or other relevant fields, from either upper secondary or university.
• You have a great interest in IT, technology and media.
• You have solid experience of working with coordination, publishing or similar activities.
• You have experience of working with video, media or streaming.
Bonus requirements that will make you stand out:
• You have experience in content management.
• You have experience in video transcoding.
• You have experience of working with rights management systems.
• You have experience of working with traffic.
