As our new Industrial Engineer, you will contribute to the optimization of the industrial process and product design in relation to other disciplines, such as R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Procurement and other teams. You will also be involved in the troubleshooting of equipment problems and the improvement of industrial capacity, quality and/or efficiencies by performing a variety of engineering functions.
Your challenges will be project co-ordination with respect to production preparation, manufacturing and industrialization, leading to a successful realization of new and/or changed design.
You will be joining a super-duper squad that works in a creative environment and consists of multi-skilled persons in mechanical, electrical and software design. The development is driven in cross-functional and international teams. Our responsibility is to participate in the development and sustaining activities and are involved in all phases of development projects, manufacturing engineering and life cycle management.
The role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the internal and external capability, capacity and quality of new product or post release changes of a product with respect to suppliers, manufacturing and test equipment. This will apply throughout the product life cycle.
To succeed in this role, we believe that you need to be curious, outgoing and result oriented with the ability of driving tasks to completion.
Your days will be filled with
Driving designs for manufacturing and assembly during product development.
Developing, designing and implementing manufacturing test strategies and equipment.
Working with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs), Contract Design Manufacturers (CMs), and suppliers to prioritize and tackle problems.
Supporting in make or buy decisions and other strategic procurement activities.
Analyzing processes and data to identify and implement yield and performance enhancements.

We are looking for someone who has:
Deep knowledge in different manufacturing processes.
Experience in design for manufacturing, DFM, and design for assembly, DFA.
Experience in using CAD and PLM tools for design.
University education in engineering and several years of experience in Production development.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Swedish, both verbal and in written.
We find it to be a strong merit if you have worked with mechanical design in Solid Works. If you combine this with a knowledge in mechanical and mechatronics design that would be just super!
