Job Summary
Development & Technology IBE (Industrial Base Engineering) is developing and implementing standardized manufacturing equipment and processes for our converting factories, enabling Tetra Pak to deliver competitive and sustainable packaging solutions now and for the future. Our CAPEX implementation team supports converting factories all over the world with installation projects aiming for increased output, quality and efficiency.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Implementation Engineer who will lead and perform mechanical installations of our industrial base worldwide.
This is a permanent position based in Lund, Sweden. The majority of the job is performed in our converting factories, and extensive international travelling is required (up to 80%), sometimes at a short notice.
What you will do
Sometimes you will prepare and perform the installation work yourself. In other projects you will lead a team of people to perform the mechanical installation. In major upgrade and installation projects there will be a Site Coordinator in charge of the overall installation. You will then perform the mechanical installation and/or lead a part of the mechanical installation team.
You will also contribute to and lead continuous improvement activities and issue resolutions. Trouble shooting experience and a problem-solving mindset is crucial to be successful when you are sent to factories to solve break downs. Structure and planning skills are needed to follow up on the progress on site. Circumstances and requirements can change quickly, and you need to adapt easily to new situations and needs.
When considered possible in terms of risks, you support installations and break downs remotely from Lund.
We believe you have
You are an expert in mechanical craftsmanship, curious to develop yourself further and interested in the latest technology to increase our capability and efficiency during installations. You are open minded and like to share learnings with others.
You have 3-10 years of working experience in mechanical installations and leading installations of machineries in Tetra Pak converting factories or similar industries. You possess and apply relevant principles, practices, and procedures for the completion of difficult mechanical installation assignments. Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety is required.
You are fluent in English, verbally as well as in writing, and have proven that you can lead people in challenging situations and with different cultural background. Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing methodology and Early Management principles is beneficial.
