Group Trucks Operations is the truck industrial entity within the Volvo Group responsible for Global Truck manufacturing, including Cab & Vehicle Assembly, Engine Production, Logistics Services, Parts Distribution and Remanufacturing. GTO manufacture state-of-the-art products for the world class brands of the Volvo Group and work with energy, passion and respect for the individual.

The unit in Köping is transmission center within Volvo Group Trucks Operations, Powertrain Production and there is continuous development in the context of the role of "Center of Excellence" for the transmission field. There are currently 1500 employees at the unit.

The HR organization contributes by implementation and focus on Value Added HR, the HR team contains of HR Business Partners, Competence Management, Safety, Security & Risk Management.

Position Description
The HR Business Partners are the frontline providers of HR services to managers. Responsible for implementing and communicating HR policies, directives and processes in the organization and ensures compliance. The HR Business Partner also provides operational support to managers which will ensure that HR operations deliver the talent and performance necessary for achieving business goals.

Main Responsibilities
The HR Business Partner function is a generalist role, where you are providing services within the whole HR scope and ensures that HR strategy and activities are aligned with and help deliver business goals.

• Translate business strategy and objectives into targets and ensure HR plans and tactics are aligned with the plants business demands and policies.

• As a member of management team, you will take the lead in identifying HR business drivers that will influence the implementation of plant performance.

• Support managers and management teams in HR-related issues that drive performance

• Applied HR processes within Talent & Performance management related issues and tasks. The Leadership Pipelines, competencies and philosophy. VGAS (Volvo Group Attitude Survey) and PBP (Personal Business Plan).

• Salary Reviews, Workforce Planning. Proactive Health activities, Rehabilitation, Labor law

• Volvo Production System/Lean principals and way of working, main focus is People Development.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Swedish & English language are required. Broad HR knowledge and several years of experience of HR processes and policies. Solid analytical skills and demonstrated ability to solve problems quickly and creatively. Coaching and facilitation skills that help drive transformation and change in the organization. High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted initiatives in conjunction with day-to-day activities independently.
