The Administrative Directorate at the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund, Sweden, invites applications for an HR administrator
Description of directorate/division
ESS HR division consists of 12 colleagues that enjoy working together in a collaborative way, supporting and empowering each other in order to be able to fulfil the best possible service to the organization. Since one of us is leaving we are now looking for her successor, could it be you?
The atmosphere in the HR Division is friendly, the work load is often high and the tasks are of great variation and complexity. Have in mind that ESS is a green field site, meaning that everything has to be invented, designed and put in place. For the best divisional and organizational fit, we believe you have a problem-solving and flexible mindset and understand the great importance of your role as a service provider.
Description of main responsibilities
The position as the HR Administrator is a multifaceted role, you will be a important support for both managers and staff in the organization as well as to your HR colleagues.
• HR Administration
• Recruitment Administration
• Relocation Administration
• Support to the organization with handling of work permits
• Salary payment administration
• Reply to questions and requests in our ticket system
• Writing employment certificates.
• Compiling of statistics
• Support with internal HR meeting coordination.
• Support to the HR team with other administrative tasks
Qualifications
• Qualified HR administrator with experience within the previously mentioned area of responsibilities
• Solid experience working with numbers, salary systems and statistics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish
• Driven, self-motivated, organized, solution oriented with a positive attitude and a excellent sense of humor
• And of course, a true "go getter" with a service level beyond good

Duration & Location
The position is a permanent position with a 6 months probationary period
Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden.
Start date
The position is to be filled as soon as possible.
