Internationella Engelska Skolan Nacka is recruiting an engaging and passionate home economics teacher to work full time in year levels 6-9.
Internationella Engelska Skolan Nacka will be opening its’ doors for the first time in August 2010. IES Nacka will be in a newly renovated building that is centrally located in Nacka Strand.
Duties and responsibilities:
You will be working in a newly opened school in which the staff will be working together to create the best possible environment for our students. We are looking for a Home Economics teacher that enjoys an active environment in which you decide the content and goals for your subject as well as teaching to groups of 15-16 students. You need to possess a passion for the subject and an open and clear pedagogical leadership. The job description also includes mentorship of 15 students and this is role is of extremely important in the schools ethos and development.
Qualifications:
Candidates should be a certified grade school teacher in Home Economics. He/she needs to posses the ability work independently as well as in groups and have a developed capacity to communicate effectively with students.
