As the Head of Logistics NE at BSH, you will be at the forefront of managing our logistics and supply chain operations in the Northeast region. This is a critical role that requires strategic vision, operational excellence, and a hands-on approach to leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring that our logistics operations are efficient, cost-effective, and capable of meeting the demands of our customers with the highest levels of satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the entire logistics and supply chain operations in the Northeast region, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
• Develop and implement strategic logistics plans that align with the company's growth objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse logistics team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and integrate innovative solutions.
• Manage relationships with logistics service providers, ensuring compliance with contracts and service level agreements.
• Monitor industry trends and adapt logistics strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, environmental, and health and safety standards.
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful logistics strategies.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with the latest logistics technology and software.
