About the position

As a Head of Internal Audit and Internal Control at Dometic, you will be responsible for supporting the Board of Directors and Group Management in optimizing and developing the Corporate Governance within the Dometic Group. This role divides into two key areas of responsibility: Internal Audit and Internal Control, and offers you an exciting opportunity to work across multiple business segments in a dynamic and global environment.

Your main responsibilities
Internal Audit:
Inform the Audit committee and Group CFO about internal control issues and risks detected, providing detailed audit reports.Develop and present the annual audit plan, focusing on identified risks in the ERM, for approval by the Audit Committee and GM.Support the cooperation with stakeholders to address control gaps, improve processes, minimize risks, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Oversee the internal audit team, ensuring they work independently and in line with International IIA Standards.Review and approve audit reports, interacting with GM to discuss findings and management action plans.Participate in the Speak Up Line Ethical Committee, evaluate cases, and advise management on appropriate actions.Coordinate with external partners, such as EY, on planning and execution of audits.
Internal Control:
Support the development and implementation of the internal control framework.Conduct periodic reviews of the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls.Assess the impact of changes to control environments and propose necessary adjustments or new controls.Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the efficiency and reliability of internal controls.Create and maintain group instructions and procedures within internal control.Advise on corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings and ensure follow-up.Coordinate internal control activities including Minimum Internal Control Requirements (MICR).Represent internal control activities in the Audit Committee, preparing presentations and control plans.Safeguard internal controls during acquisitions and advise on internal control weaknesses.

A suitable background would be a solid experience within Internal Audit and Internal Control - as well as the following qualifications and experiences:
A University Degree (or equivalent with relevant practice).Significant experience (7+ years) in Internal Audit, preferably with a background in a "Big 4" audit firm.Solid understanding of financial and business processes.Fluent in English (written and spoken).International experience and cultural awareness.Self-driven and proactive personality with strong integrity.
