As Head of Digital for Franchise, you drive profitable digital growth by managing and optimizing our digital channels (.com and marketplace) through our franchise partners. You set and execute on the digital strategy with regards to commercial excellence and customer experience, digital business development and expansion, using data and insights to enhance growth. You are a relationship focused leader with strong communication skills and a "get shit done" attitude. You perform your work in close collaboration with the franchise leadership team, franchise digital team, franchise partners and support functions (e.g. Business Tech, Global Digital function and Logistics).
Franchise is a hybrid between a region and global function and hence many of the things we work on differ from the global way of working. You need to be able to roll up your sleeves and solve all the different problems that comes your way - may it be technical, commercial or partner related.
Key responsibilities:
Manage and develop the digital team in the global Franchise team, building a strong, values-based culture and fostering effective teamwork and collaboration to achieve set goals and targets
Build relationships and cooperate with several different functions both within H&M and at our partners. Manage expectations, understand stakeholder desires, needs and requirements and seek to collaborate to get the job done
Identify and estimate (total potential, ROI) new opportunities for digital development based on regional customer and competitor insights, including both on existing channel development (such as payment methods, delivery offering, infrastructure and omni features) and digital expansion (marketplaces, localizations)
Optimize our current tech setups and develop Franchise Tech 2.0 in close collaboration with the Franchise Business Tech team
Be an advocate and spokes person for Franchise Digital within H&M
Use salesmanship to drive the franchise partners in day-to-day optimization and executional excellence of digital channels in line with our brand direction, ultimately to secure short- and long- term digital growth
Collaborate with Omni Merchandising, Customer Activation & Marketing and Controlling to bring a digital perspective into the planning process, resulting in one regional omni commercial / customer plan founded on our company plan
Secure value capture of new capabilities and functionality through implementation and / or changes to way of working.
Demonstrate strong leadership abilities in a complex environment and communicate effectively and make decisions confidently with a strong business mindset.
Identify and grow future talent, planning succession and recruitment of key/critical digital roles
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with...
Min 5 years working with digital / eCom, with strong fashion retail record
5+ years leadership experience
Demonstrated ability to create strong commercial results
Experience from digital expansion is highly beneficial
Proven track record of delivering digital development/tech strategies and solutions that drive business impact
Demonstrated experience of working in a complex environment and managing and negotiating with several different stakeholder
Very strong communication skills are essential, English

You can handle several different topics and projects simultaneously and are used to working in an environment of ambiguity, uncertainty and limited information.
You have the ability to zoom out of the day-to-day tasks to identify long-term strategic needs and can define effective long-term plans in line with broader brand and franchise direction.
You have deep experience in eCommerce sales and digital development, with knowledge of how to translate data into insights that lead to hypothesis to test and action.
You are an experienced and proven leader with ability to lead effectively and create results in a highly complex environment.
You enjoy teamwork and collaborate effectively with a group of diverse people to achieve set goals and targets. You have a strong business mindset, communicate well and you are comfortable in making decisions.
