The Head of Compliance & Ethics, EU Cluster & Nordics will be responsible for the execution and oversight of the EU Cluster Compliance Program, and directly manage the Compliance Program for 10 counties including the Nordics region (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden), Switzerland & Austria (CHAT) and Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg (BeNeLux).
Responsibilities
Lead Compliance Committees and be a Member of local Leadership teams
Support business to make sound / informed decisions in collaboration with the Legal team
Report up to company leadership significant matters regarding the company's compliance program
Represent BMS at local industry code associations
Responsible for the governance, planning, construction and improvement of Compliance policies and for for the execution of Compliance training to employees
Partner with HQ Compliance to support global compliance systems/processes/controls (e.g., monitoring, risk assessment, due diligence, audit response)
Influence EU Cluster's compliance culture initiatives; e.g., Integrity Champions programs
Responsible for EU Cluster's robust risk based monitoring program
Collaboration with the Business Control Function, Internal Audit, Event Management, Transparency teams
Manage 2 compliance team members covering CHAT and BeNeLux
Requirements
Masters'/advanced degree; related certification preferred
7+ years' pharmaceutical or healthcare related experience; 4+ years' experience specifically in compliance
Understanding of specific Nordic local codes (e.g., ENLI, PIF, LMI etc.), laws and regulations
Proven record of accomplishment in the areas of global compliance best practices
Knowledge of pharma sales, marketing, and medical risks, processes and practices
Personal integrity and ethics, sense of discretion, outstanding interpersonal skills
Significant Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution experience with a strong understanding of organizational justice
Problem-solving and analytical skills; process improvement and efficiency acumen
Track record for leading effective high performing teams
Knowledge of basic corporate computer software (MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint. Tableau dashboards)
Ability to accept and adapt to change/ flexible thinking
Fluent English. Other languages would be a plus
