We're seeking a talented and motivated Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team for a temporary assignment. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing PCBs for both new and existing products, ensuring their seamless transition to mass production. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and various departments to bring your expertise to the table and deliver exceptional results.
What you'll do:
• Design and develop PCBs for control units in battery and combustion engine products.
• Create user interfaces (HMI) including displays and buttons.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments such as System Engineering, Procurement, and Lead Engineers.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations.
• Collaborate with suppliers, create Gerber files, and provide production test support.
• Deliver complete production documentation to suppliers, including BOM and PTS.
• Build prototypes, support certifications, and manage tight deadlines.
• Lead cost improvement initiatives and address product issues related to the hardware.
• Work on projects of varying complexity, from minor adjustments to major commitments requiring senior expertise.
What we're looking for:
• Knowledge and experience in power electronics for control units.
• Experience in UI/HMI (User Interface/Human Machine Interface).
• Degree in Electronic Engineering with experience in electronic construction.
• Hands-on experience in a laboratory setting.
• Experience in the development of high-volume products.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in English both orally and written.
• Experience in frequent contact with suppliers/customers.
• Experience in new product development.
• Familiarity with OrcadElectric (meritorious).
