hela Sverige Electrical & Electronics and Vehicle Connectivity (EEVC) is looking for a Group Manager for the Electrical Actuators and Sensors Group
Here you get a chance to manage a highly skilled team of engineers and take product ownership for electrical actuators and sensors in the trucks.
This is us, your new colleagues
EEVC is a local department within Vehicle Engineering Gothenburg, responsible for delivering Electrical solutions for the Volvo Truck Heavy Duty range. We are aiming at a high level of co-operation cross the organization.
You will be an important member of the department management team and you will report to the Chief engineer in Gothenburg. We strongly believe in the opportunities with agile way of working
Group manager @Volvo:
As a group manager @Volvo you are both traditional line manager and product owner. This can be done either by managing both or by having a close cooperation with an agile PO.
In the line management part the overall target is that the people reporting to you has the means to do a good job. There are elements of administration but the challenging and fun part is around growth of individuals and teams.
The Electrical and Electronics area will continue to grow in importance in the commercial vehicle industry and in the Volvo Group. We are currently developing very exciting products and will continue to do so in the years to come as we are expanding our business into new segments.
The group is currently consisting of 9 engineers.

Qualifications
Master of Science within engineering (e.g. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science), or comparable work experience.
Worked as a group manager or have other leadership experience
Knowledge of EE Hardware development and technology
Knowledge in agile way of working
Structured, analytical and holistic mind-set
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Experience from automotive development is a merit
