We are looking for Global Sales Engineers to strengthen our Sales Team within New Sales. The team is operating from our head office in Vika, Falun.

Your main focus in this position is to create strong customer relationships by providing technical support for the layout of couplers and defining the Crash Energy concepts in new passenger railway projects.

As a Global Sales Engineer you are responsible to deliver the most efficient and economic conceptual layout of the coupler following the customer's specification as well as our internal preferences. It will also be an important task to evaluate the created technical concepts in order to improve and secure Dellner's market position. You will work closely to our customers in order to present solutions and acceptance and to be successful, this requires travelling as well as video meetings. Internally you will work in close cooperation with Key Account Managers, Procurement, Engineering and RAMS/LCC.

Your responsibilities:

• Point of contact for our customers for all technical issues in sales projects
• Take charge of the projects technical requirements. Accomplish related results as needed
• Prepare technical offers, pre-calculations and clause by clause comments. Keep them updated and communicate them with the Sales Responsible
• Consider enlarging Dellner's market share by cooperating with third parties on their developments
• Study customer requirements and trends. Evaluate and give input for development of new products

You report to Global Sales Engineering Manager.

The successful candidate will have following profile
Job and education experiences:

• Minimum of 3 years' university degree within the area of the responsibility
• Experience in creating and analysing technical concepts
• Experience in application of CAD systems and simulation programs
• Knowledge in creating drawings and technical product description

it 's a plus if you have experience of customer contacts related to technical concepts and offers.

Personal skills:

• Service and result oriented
• Self-motivated and communicative with a good technical understanding
• Well organized, highly motivated for the job and with an open attitude
• Ability to understand customer needs and good analytical skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English

Traveling will be necessary in accordance with the project requirements.
