hela Sverige We are looking for a Global Product Manager Light Compaction. If you like the challenge of running all the steps in the product life cycle, including new product development, implementation, launching and phasing out, you might be the person we are looking for.
As Global Product Manager Light Compaction you will be responsible for driving and securing portfolio development, as well as optimizing growth and profitability within the product group. The product area consists of vibratory compaction plates, rammers, duplex rollers and trench compactors for soil and asphalt compaction.
The responsibility of the Global Product Manager Light Compaction includes both technical and commercial responsibility for the product group. The technical responsibility involves turning the demands of the market and customers into new products and solutions by defining the requirement specification and being project owner in new product development projects. The commercial responsibility involves monitoring and driving sales and margin growth within the product group as well as participation in the assortment, price and positioning strategy.
The Global Product Manager Light Compaction has a global responsibility to ensure that the products meet and exceed the customer's expectations, are innovative, profitable, competitive and help Husqvarna Group to fulfill our vision of becoming the first choice globally in Light Compaction equipment.
The Global Product Manager Light Compaction reports to the Director Product & Service Management Light Compaction & Concrete Placement.
This position could be based in any main Husqvarna Construction location.
The job responsibilities will among other things include
• Determine and optimize product portfolio based on market needs and trends
• Create and update product roadmap / launch plan
• Responsibility for global competition and market surveillance
• Follow up, analyze and monitor sales volume, profitability and margins
• Act as project owner in development projects within the product group
• Make requirements and compile all product-related information for both internal and external communication
• Represent the product group in both internal and external forums, meetings and fairs
• Build and maintain an international network with external and internal experts and prominent players in the industry
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone with relevant university degree, preferably a master's degree with a technical or business focus, and at least three years of experience in a similar position. It is meriting if you have experience from the industry.
In order to succeed in the role, you need to have strategic and commercial thinking. It is important that you have the ability to see and understand the whole picture. As we are a global matrix organization you need to have very good communication skills. Other personality requirements are:

• Ability and willingness to work hands-on on both high and low level to get the job done
• Well-structured and organized
