Perstorp Group is growing and several investment programs within operations are in the pipeline. For example - one new production plant is to be constructed in India. Perstorp has a demand for additional process engineering resources to secure that the investments will be delivered successfully.
About the section OTEX
Operational & Technology Excellence (OTEX) is a global department within the Operations function at Perstorp. The department is responsible for setting the overall Technology Strategy for Perstorp. In alignment with that strategy the department is focused on developing and delivering technology solutions and stabilizing and optimizing plant performance across all Perstorp's production sites in the world. In addition, the department is also responsible for ensuring operational excellence through the application of relevant Lean and Six Sigma principles, methods and tools throughout Operations. Staff members in Operational & Technology Excellence are primarily located in Stenungsund and Perstorp.
What about this job?
As Global Process Engineer in Operational & Technology Excellence you will work globally as a Process Engineering resource or Process Lead in investment projects and technical networks, as well as in various initiatives aiming at stabilizing and optimizing plant performance at the different productions sites in the Perstorp Group. Your primary place of work will vary - in periods you may be specifically located at one of the production sites, and at other times you will be located in the technology hub dividing your attention between different production sites depending on where the need is the greatest. To give you a hint, you will have approximately 20-60 travelling days a year.
You will be positioned in Perstorp or Stenungsund and report to the Team Manager of one the Process Teams in Perstorp or Stenungsund.

Main Responsibilities
- Process lead or resource in all phases for major and minor investment projects
- Conduct business feasibility studies
- Be a member of technical networks that actively performs reoccurring GAP analysis for Perstorp competencies within process engineering and initiate internal development projects to strengthen Perstorp in the field
- Keep knowledge up to date for new technologies and lead special projects to address tactical and/or strategic issues within the process engineering field
- Provide guidance to colleagues and business areas
- Develop and acquire technology for new products and processes
- Work with process safety related topics exemplified by risk analysis
Who are we looking for?
- Master's degree or similar within chemical engineering or equivalent job experience
- 5 years of experience as process specialist or equivalent
- Proven ability and broad competence in the process engineering field
- Ability to represent the company in technological and/or business forums
- Process-oriented mindset
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Provides coaching and actively shares knowledge
- Structured in documentation of performed technical activities/projects and excellent writing skills
- Able to travel to other sites as necessary
- Good proficiency in Swedish and English language
