• Develop, engage and drive the team through your business acumen and conceptual lead and thinking, ensuring the team reach their targets while maintaining a good dynamic.
• Be expected to have a great understanding of consumer markets, trends and overall knowledge of the cosmetics market, therefore commercial awareness and analytical skills are needed.
• Develop and own the long-term strategy of the fragrance category with strategic scenario development leading to clear KPIs and targets
• Own category pricing and margin strategies and providing input to other functional strategies requiring tough target costs.
• Have a strong focus on portfolio management involving consumer segmentation, brand portfolio management and newness planning
• Engage teams into sound brand development and implementation. Maintaining a vision of success through brand targets and KPIs and a strong emphasis on 'Why launch & Why buy'
• High focus on new portfolio which implies focus on efficacy in product development
• Oversee the communication plan for the category and its brands, guaranteeing an effective 'communication toolboxes'
• Communicate clearly and effectively as well as present projects and concepts in all Oriflame's forums, from Board meetings to Global Conference with our Leaders.
• Strong business understanding and feeling of category ownership, through your identification and understanding of key business KPIs, while influencing the Oriflame markets to increase sales.
• Consumer focus primarily able to create and maintain relevant consumer segmentation
• Creativity & Innovation resulting in New to Oriflame, New to Channel and 1st to Market concepts
• Conceptual strength with ability to create new brands
• Decision making and problem solving through the ability to make fast and effective business decisions.
• Develop and engage teams/individual while possessing effective conflict management skills
You have a university degree in business administration or preferably a subject relative to this role.
This is coupled with at least 10 years of hands on experience in the marketing arena of a multinational company with strong brand and ideally product development experience.
Preferably you have 5 years or more experience in Fragrance Development with exposure to strategy, concept and delivery of new fragrance brands.
Ideally also knowledge of the Direct Selling industry.
Fluency in English and knowledge of other languages preferred.
