Job Summary:
The Global Credit Control Group will be accountable for Ericsson's global credit control process of Ericsson's customers. The role includes to participate in the establishment and operation of a central team within Ericsson Credit. This includes development of new frameworks and Group Directives within the credit control area. Establishment of a new model to build a culture within Ericsson why credit management is important. Furthermore, steering and guidance of the Regional credit control activities as well as being the ultimate escalation point. The role will report to Head of Global Credit Control.

Responsibility:
Participate in the establishment of a central Credit Control Group within Ericsson Credit to secure a workable and effective risk process including set up of global customer credit limits to manage the risks both from a commercial perspective as well as considering the political environment in emerging markets. This includes establishment of a central credit committee, drive a change in "attitude" within the area of credit management with a focus on limiting AR due/unbilled sales.

Key Activities:
Implementation of a Global Credit Control process
Develop and maintain Group Directive
Implementation of a Credit Committee
Involvement of Regional Management, Sales, Commercial & Contract management, Business Finance, Supply
Set Global Customer limits
Establish relevant Risk categories
Closely follow up on non-paying customers and define routines
Manage escalations and build a new model related to credit control limits
Develop and maintain cross functional efficiency. Credit Control Group should:

Link to Customer and Trade Finance processes
Link to Sale of receivables process.
Link to Revenue recognition models (IFRS9)
Link to Group initiatives.
Link to Ericsson Operating Model
Link to Treasury and Macroeconomic activities
Link to directives such as Credit Management, Currency of Trade, Letter of Credit and Customer Finance, etc.
Link to External rating models, OECD Country risk classification etc.
Link Supply activities and Working capital efficiency
Link to Secure Collectability project/Risk Matrix (new developed tool)
Train, influence and educate relevant Ericsson staff.

Qualifications:
Academic education within finance.
Very focused driver
Excellent project lead skills
High level of Business understanding and in-depth knowledge into Customer contracts/T&C's
Customer insight
Skills to analyse the credit risk in a transaction
Skills to plan, carry out and follow up business negotiations
High level of understanding of the political and economic situation in the different markets
Sound knowledge of the telecommunication industry
Sound experience of negotiations
High level of English
IT knowledge in general
Skilled in excel.
