Purpose and Contents of the Role
Shift Control and Auxiliaries are responsible for the design of clutches, gear shifting systems, retarders and power-take-off's. A large part of the engineering development work in the team is done in close collaboration with external suppliers. Our work is carried out in all stages of product development from technology development in early phases to product maintenance and solving quality issues, and includes component requirement setting, planning, documentation, validation and verification. The work is performed in close co-operation in a multi-cultural environment with both internal and external contacts such as our different development sites around the world.

Qualifications
You have a M Sc degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical engineering or equivalent
Previous engineering experience from product development within the automotive industry is a merit
You have some experience in 3D-modelling and PDM-systems, preferably PTC Creo and PDMLink
Experience from supplier collaboration
Problem Solving / Decision Making with QDCF consideration
