Overview
We are looking for a Global Brand Director to lead and develop our Professional Care department within the Incontinence Care category. The role will have teams reporting into the position.
The Global Brand Director contributes to the overall category strategy and has the overall responsibility to recommend, develop and implement long term brand vision and long term brand objectives within category boundaries. The role leads innovation teams, as well as specialists in brand marketing, public affairs and CRU globally. It also cooperates closely with relevant stakeholders to create a strong innovation flow and launches to drive company sales growth and reach overall company objectives.
As Global Brand Director you report directly to VP Vice President Category Incontinence Care, Global Hygiene Category (GHC).
Main Tasks
Develops global market segmentation, owns brand pyramid and architecture
Responsible for insight generation and research strategy
Recommends the targeted area’s key protected features and designs
Drives innovation, manages brand product/solution portfolio
Lead the development of key brand territories with strong claims which drive the brand preference with the consumers.
Recommends strategic pricing relative to market and competitors
Responsible for strategic media choice, big idea development and theme communications
Develops launch communication
Monitors global long term Brand health and defines corrective actions
Responsible for brand visual identity and packaging with category guidelines.
Owns mandatory parameters of the product specification
Leads the Brand Team, consisting of key regional marketing stakeholders and GHC. Oversees the Innovation Teams, and other specialist and CRU.
The role is responsible to manage the brand development activities within B2B channels towards Professionals.
Key Competencies
University degree or equivalent within relevant practice
Global branding experience from the industry
Experience with international leadership
International and commercial understanding
Excellent English comprehension including oral and written capabilities
Strong communication and influencing skills
Takes a broad stakeholder perspective and values diversity
Solid knowledge on channel management – proven track record to manage with within multiple complex channels.
Demonstrated ability to develop strong claims to build brand preference.
Builds trust in an open environment by involving others
Drives a winning attitude and shows perseverance in a complex matrix environment
