We need to expand and are now looking for five more GDL / Task Leaders.
As GDL / Task Leader you are responsible for cost reduction within your certain area. You will work with your own project team and are responsible of drive and coordinate improvments to existing and new year models. You will also be responsible for driving and the contacts with external suppliers.
Main responsibilities
• Identify, investigate and generate possible cost reduction proposals
• Prepare and present schedules, technique and cost consequences for generated ideas
• Take lead for all your tasks and work cross-functional
• Follow up and report status of cost reduction to project management
• In some cases run the complete implementation loop from idea to implemented change
Required qualifications
• University degree in engineering or similar experiences
• 2-5 years Automotive experience is a great advantage
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
As a person you need to be able to take your own initiatives and leave no stone unturned. You need to be creative to find opportunities, be a good organizer and keep track of the details. Multitasking ability and to be able to take command, lead, communicate and work in close cooperation with the team and other members of the project is crucial.
