The Company seeks for a Quality Manager to Gothenburg office, who will work in infrastructural projects such as highway, railway and tunneling projects in Sweden.
Main Responsibilities
• Assisting the staff to implement the ISO 9000 management model in the project;
• Preparing Customer Assurance and Quality Control Procedures and provide their activation and implementation
• Assessment of the quality requirements included in the contract;
• Providing the transfer of quality requirements to Suppliers / Subcontractors;
• Client interface for quality aspects.
• Coordinating the activities of the specialized companies related to the quality;
• Scheduling, execution and formalizing the internal audits and audits;
• Systematically examining the project documentation regarding non-compliance, complaints and observations of the Client in order to detect the prejudicial situations for the quality;
• Identifying and registering non-compliance with the Company's activities and management system;
• Performing the assessment of local contractors and local suppliers of permanent materials, with eventual support of the other functions of the yard;
• Supporting the Engineering in the drafting of operating procedures relating to production methods (Method Statements);
• Performing periodic review of the non-conformities found on the site; planning and performing, if necessary, internal audits to verify compliance with part of the order unit of the prescriptions contained in the quality plan and in the operating procedures, in the technical specifications and drafts;
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Preferably with Master of Science or MBA Degree)
• Min. years of working experience in large scale infrastructure projects
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to work within a multi-cultural team.
• Experienced in coordinating and managing Subcontractors/Suppliers,
• Ability to complete several tasks together and meet up with deadlines
• Excellent use of MS Office programs
• Professional Proficiency in English and/or Swedish
